Gain an
understanding of Client's environment
Dedicated time with client management to
fully understand the company's short and long term
technology goals, culture, work environment, benefits
(where appropriate) and line of business.
Develop
a viable job description
Work with hiring managers and/or HR to
develop a detailed job description, paying special attention
to both soft and hard skills. Separating wish list from
primary needs of the position and consulting on fair market
compensation.
Guide
client as to availability
Take on a consultative approach with the
client and jointly evaluating the market for the required
talent.
Make
realistic deliverable commitments
Make commitments based on reality rather
than simply winning the business
